Our Purpose: The mission of Westgate Christian School is to provide quality academic training for the children of members of Westgate Baptist Church and other interested Christians in our community. This training will emphasize the authority of the Word of God, Biblical knowledge and standards, Christian character, and a life-long commitment of service to Christ. We are endeavoring to equip and motivate young people to fulfill God’s plan for their lives.
Our Program: WCS offers a quality education in a Christian atmosphere to students in grades K-3 through 12th grade. The curriculum materials effectively blend the Saxon Math program with elements of Bob Jones University and A Beka Publications, to challenge our students academically and spiritually. We are fully accredited by the American Association of Christian Schools, as well as the South Carolina Association of Christian Schools. WCS was established on this location in 1980 and has experienced the blessing of God in its growth and development.
Our People: Pastor Seiber has been Administrator of WCS since 1991, having served previously as Principal of Westpark Christian School, Vice-Principal of Temple Baptist Academy, and Associate Pastor of Southside Baptist Church in Knoxville, Tennessee. The WCS Faculty is qualified and experienced.
