Children’s Sunday School
Before the morning worship service we offer Sunday school classes for all ages. These classes are divided by age and are intended to give our children a better understanding of the overall message of the Bible.
During the Sunday morning worship service we offer Junior Church for children from four years old through fourth grade. Our four year old through second grade Junior Church service consists of songs, a Bible lesson, memory verse, and a snack. We believe that it is important for our older children to learn how to worship God alongside the rest of the body of Christ. Therefore, our third and fourth grade children participate in the first half of our morning worship service. Just before the message, they are dismissed with their teachers to their class for age-appropriate Bible instruction.
Kids4Truth is a fun and enriching program that teaches children key Bible doctrines in age appropriate ways. It is for ages K3 - 6th grade and meets on Wednesday nights (during the school year) from 7:00-8:15 in the Easler building. The weekly program includes a Bible lesson along with game time and verse time where the children learn and recite their memory verses for an opportunity to earn club cash to "purchase" prizes from the club store. Kids4Truth helps girls and boys get grounded in what they believe and why they believe it.
Westgate Christian School
Westgate Christian School has existed since 1981 to train and encourage young people to grow spiritually and excel academically. We strive to infuse every academic course with a biblical worldview and our desire is to train young people to use their abilities for the glory of God. We believe our job is to help develop the abilities of students and encourage them to be disciples of Jesus Christ. We come along side parents in training young people to graduate well prepared for life, and ready to be effective witnesses for Christ.
Our academic offerings are pre-kindergarten through twelfth grade. They include dual enrollment options where students can earn college credit (additional fees apply) in their Junior and Senior years. We also have a well-rounded slate of fine arts and sports opportunities.
