It’s all about Jesus and the call for kids to live for his glory.
We're inviting your children to join us for Wonder Junction, an Old West-themed VBS adventure designed to teach kids about who Jesus is to them. We introduce them to the many wonders of Jesus so that they marvel at His birth, His childhood, His ministry, His death and Resurrection, and His coming return. Our 2025 VBS is all about Jesus and the call for kids to live for His glory.
During our adventure from Answers in Genesis, kids will discover answers to questions like:
- What was it like at the time of the King’s birth?
- Was anyone more important than Jesus ever born?
- What was young Jesus like?
- Is Jesus man or God?
- How much power does Jesus have, and what miracles did He perform?
- Why are Jesus' death and Resurrection special?
- Did Jesus experience sadness and pain?
- How does knowing Jesus affect my life today?
- What should I do while I wait for Jesus to return?
It’s an adventurous ride through the Old West, designed to help kids better know the person and power of Jesus, what He did for them, and how we should respond.

What to Expect Wonder Junction
Wonder Junction by Answers in Genesis helps kids understand the reality of Jesus' life on earth and His gracious power in lives today. Kids will come to an understanding of the nature of Jesus' as both completely man and completely God, and why His death and Resurrection were unique and meaningful.
Adventure awaits as children race to unravel clues that hint at the daily theme. Each day of VBS, kids will discover something impactful about the life of Jesus Christ.

Westgate Baptist Church has a heart to protect both its members and visitors. We have a trained security team for all church services and events. The WBC security team monitors cameras throughout the property and is a welcome presence on our campus. They will be on duty for the entire VBS event.
All WBC children's workers, including VBS workers, must be approved Ministry Safe workers who have received a background check, as well as safety and procedure training.
