We're inviting your children to join us for Emerald Crossing, an Irish-themed adventure through the life of David and the beloved Psalm 23.

Our world is filled with worry and confusion, and your children must know there is a God who cares for them and protects them as a loving Shepherd. Our Emerald Isle journey will take us through the green and fruitful landscapes of Ireland where we will explore the powerful truths found in Psalm 23.

As we take this journey, our prayer is that your kids will learn about the life of David the shepherd-king, and with his example will understand how to cross from worry to peace, fear to faith, and uncertainty to a firm trust in God's Word. They will have the opportunity to begin a relationship with the only truly Good Shepherd, Jesus Christ.

Emerald Crossing by Answers in Genesis helps kids come to trust the loving, kind, and protective nature of their Savior, known in the Bible as the Good Shepherd. Children will learn practical ways a relationship with Jesus can help them overcome the fear, anxiety, and confusion that permeates our modern world.

Adventure awaits as children traverse the lush landscape of Ireland, learning how the Shepherd of Psalm 23 comes to the aid of lambs in peril, guarding them with His very life. Each day of VBS, kids will discover something impactful about the love and care of Jesus Christ.

Westgate Baptist Church has a heart to protect both its members and visitors. We have a trained security team for all church services and events. The WBC security team monitors cameras throughout the property and is a welcome presence on our campus. They will be on duty for the entire VBS event.

All WBC children's workers, including VBS workers, must be approved Ministry Safe workers who have received a background check, as well as safety and procedure training.
