If you are hurting from life's traumas, join us Fridays at 7 p.m. for weekly group meetings.

We provide support and biblical counseling for anyone suffering from trauma or PTSD. In a group setting, we are able to share, pray, and speak God's truth to our pain.

There is help and hope on the other side of the hurt, and we find it through the compassionate love of Jesus Christ.

What Is PTSD?

Post traumatic stress disorder became a household word in connection with the trauma of combat veterans and emergency services personnel.

While many military, police officers, and emergency services providers battle PTSD, many civilians also suffer.

According to the American Psychiatric Association, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) is “an anxiety (emotional) disorder which stems from a particular incident evoking significant stress.”

What Traumas Cause PTSD?

• Childhood abuse of all types
• Rape and sexual assault
• Involvement in car accidents
• Experiencing violence, including military combat or assault
• Seeing others hurt or killed
• Surviving natural disasters, including pandemics
• Losing a loved one
• Receiving a diagnosis of a life threatening condition
