Youth Pastor Benj Melton

Pastor Benj was raised on the mission field in Japan. He accepted Christ as his Savior as a young boy one night after family devotions. His teen years were a challenging time as he wrestled with assurance of his salvation. Since receiving full assurance, Pastor Benj has had a passion for ministering to today’s youth. His desire is for God to use him to rescue teens from the snares of this world, issues that he wrestled with as a teenager and those that are unique to young people today. The goal of his youth ministry is for teens to develop a daily renewed passion to live for God so that they will make wise decisions in adulthood. He wants teens to see Christ in his life and go on to “[live] justly, love mercy, and walk humbly with [their] God” (Mic. 6:8).

Pastor Benj holds a BA in Cross-Cultural Service, an MA in Biblical Counseling, and is working towards his Master of Divinity. He is married to his lovely wife, Kate, and they have two daughters.
