A loving and sanitary nursery is available for every church service. We supply a well-staffed nursery with a dedicated room for infants and an adjoined room for toddlers. We welcome your special instructions as needed and want both you and your child to feel comfortable and secure. At Westgate, our nursery introduces God's truth and love during the formative toddler years. As young children interact, it's a wonderful opportunity to teach them about kindness and how to treat others.

We offer Sunday school classes for all ages. Sunday school is intended to give our children a better understanding of the overall message of the Bible. Our youngest students are welcome to begin Sunday school at age 3. Westgate teens in 7th through 12th grade have their own class and youth group that offers more in-depth biblical studies while focusing on life application. Sunday school is a time to gain a foundational understanding of God's Word.

During the Sunday morning worship service we offer Children's Church for children from three years old through third grade. Our children's service consists of songs, a Bible lesson, a memory verse, and a snack. This is a time of worship for our children that includes age-appropriate Bible instruction. During the elementary years, we not only focus on teaching them about Christ's work on the cross but also about the fruits of the Spirit evident in the lives of believers.

Kids4Truth is our fun and enriching Wednesday night children's program for K3 through 6th grade. Young people learn key Bible doctrines in a casual and energetic environment. The weekly program includes a Bible lesson with time for games and verse memorization. Kids4Truth reinforces what our children are learning in Sunday school, children's church, and in the home.

The Westgate Youth Group meets on Wednesday nights during the midweek service. Our teens gather for active games and fellowship before settling in for a message from their youth pastor. This time of deeper Bible study helps teens learn to apply God's Word in a personal, growth-promoting way. During this service, teens sing and play instruments in praise of the Lord. Our youth group also participates in pre-scheduled activities and trips throughout the year. Every summer, many of our teens volunteer to help prepare and serve during our church's VBS week.

Established in 1981 as a ministry of Westgate Baptist Church, Westgate Christian School is a testimony of God's power and grace. We strive to keep Christ at the center of all we do. Our school seeks to care for the whole child, not just her academic welfare. Teachers and staff also train and encourage young people in their spiritual, emotional, and social growth.

WCS is a ministry to the community, serving families who value Christian education and desire it for their children. We offer challenging academics infused with a biblical worldview. High school juniors and seniors may participate in dual-enrollment courses to earn college credits before graduation.

Our academics are balanced with athletic and fine arts opportunities.
