VBS 2024

Every day our children face critical questions about God and life. Did the God of the Bible REALLY create everything? Why do bad things happen in this world? Are the miracles of the Bible real? Who is Jesus, and why is He important to me? Can I trust God's Word?

During our VBS this summer, your kids will set out on adventure of discovery, seeking and finding answers to these valuable questions. Their journey will take them from Genesis to Revelation, as we bring to life the story of God's love for humanity.

Together we'll set out on a river cruise through the vast jungle to search for answers. We'll encounter sloths, river dolphins, butterflies, and dart frogs as we stop at 7 ports of call.

These ports are the 7 C’s of History: Creation, Corruption, Catastrophe, Confusion, Christ, Cross, and Consummation. In 5 days, kids will discover how each of these events impact our world. They'll learn how to connect these truths to their daily life.

Get ready for this Great Jungle Journey!

The Great Jungle Journey equips kids to answer critical questions like, who is God, and what does the Bible say about salvation? Adventure awaits as your children discover how the Bible connects to real life through the 7 C's of history: Creation, Corruption, Catastrophe, Confusion, Christ, Cross, and Consummation.

Journey back to the beginning of it all--Creation--our 1st C. All in the created world and universe was good, as God said. But was there a big bang? Or did God literally create everything? Join us on this mission of discovery!

The goodness and perfection of God's creation didn't last. Adam and Eve sinned, which allowed evil into the world. The evil of sin continued to corrupt people until God sent a global flood to judge their wickedness.

The 3rdC of our jungle journey takes us to the Tower of Babel. What was all the confusion about, and why did it happen? Search for clues that explain how the people groups of the world originated.

Since the first sin, man has remained sinful, having no way to be free from corruption. On day 4, we see man's need for a Savior--and that God has already provided One through Jesus Christ!

The last C shows the conclusion of history and how God wins the FINAL battle against sin and Satan. He brings all creation back to being very good AGAIN!

Westgate Baptist Church has a heart to protect both its members and visitors. We have a trained security team for all church services and events. The WBC security team monitors cameras throughout the property and is a welcome presence on our campus. They will be on duty for the entire VBS event.

All WBC children's workers, including VBC workers, must be approved Ministry Safe workers who have received a background check, as well as safety and procedure training.
